ASEAN coronavirus updates (regular updates by country)

Brunei

  • Brunei saw 29 new cases on January 19, taking the total to 15,986 cases amid 98 deaths.
  • Brunei recorded 151 new cases on January 17, taking the total to 15,901 cases amid 98 deaths.
  • Brunei reported 38 new cases on January 12, bringing the total to 15,750 cases amid 98 deaths.

Cambodia

  • Cambodia reported 37 new cases on January 20, bringing the total to 120,914 cases amid 3,015 deaths.
  • Cambodia recorded 30 new cases on January 19, taking the total to 120,877 cases amid 3,015 deaths.
  • Cambodia saw 22 new cases on January 18, bringing the total to 120,847 cases amid 3,015 deaths.

Indonesia

  • Indonesia saw 2,116 new cases and seven deaths on January 20, bringing the tallies to 4,277,644 cases and 144,199 deaths.
  • Indonesia recorded 1,745 new cases and nine deaths on January 19, taking the totals to 4,275,528 cases and 144,192 deaths.
  • Indonesia reported 1,362 new cases and nine deaths on January 18, bringing the tallies to 4,273,783 cases and 144,183 deaths.

Laos

  • Laos recorded 901 new cases and one death on January 20, bringing the tallies to 128,248 cases and 508 deaths.
  • Laos reported 1,281 new cases and seven deaths on January 19, taking the tallies to 127,347 cases and 507 deaths.
  • Laos saw 733 new cases and three deaths on January 18, bringing the totals to 126,066 cases and 500 deaths.

Malaysia

  • Malaysia saw 3,764 new cases and 22 deaths on January 20, taking the tallies to 2,820,927 cases and 31,853 deaths.
  • Malaysia reported 3,229 new cases and 13 deaths on January 19, bringing the tallies to 2,817,163 cases and 31,831 deaths.
  • Malaysia recorded 3,245 new cases and 10 deaths on January 18, taking the totals to 2,813,934 cases and 31,818 deaths.

Myanmar

  • Myanmar reported 128 new cases and one death on January 20, taking the totals to 533,732 cases and 19,307 deaths.
  • Myanmar recorded 196 new cases and one death on January 19, taking the tallies to 533,604 cases and 19,306 deaths.
  • Myanmar saw 163 new cases and one death on January 18, taking the tallies to 533,408 cases and 19,305 deaths.

  • The Philippines reported 31,173 new cases and 110 deaths on January 20, bringing the tallies to 3,324,478 cases and 53,153 deaths.
  • The Philippines recorded 22,958 new cases and 82 deaths on January 19, taking the totals to 3,293,625 cases and 53,044 deaths.

  • Singapore saw 1,472 new cases and one death on January 20, taking the totals to 297,549 cases and 845 deaths.
