ASEAN coronavirus updates (regular updates by country)

Brunei

  • Brunei recorded 16 new cases on January 24, bringing the total to 16,148 cases amid 98 deaths.
  • Brunei saw 48 new cases on January 23, taking the total to 16,132 cases amid 98 deaths.
  • Brunei saw 18 new cases on January 22, bringing the total to 16,084 cases amid 98 deaths.

Cambodia

  • Cambodia reported 34 new cases on January 27, taking the total to 121,150 cases amid 3,015 deaths.
  • Cambodia saw 22 new cases on January 26, bringing the total to 121,116 cases amid 3,015 deaths.
  • Cambodia recorded 28 new cases on January 25, taking the total to 121,094 cases amid 3,015 deaths.

Indonesia

  • Indonesia recorded 8,077 new cases and seven deaths on January 27, taking the totals to 4,309,270 cases and 144,261 deaths.
  • Indonesia saw 7,010 new cases and seven deaths on January 26, bringing the tallies to 4,301,193 cases and 144,254 deaths.
  • Indonesia reported 4,878 new cases and 20 deaths on January 25, taking the totals to 4,294,183 cases and 144,247 deaths.

Laos

  • Laos saw 695 new cases and one death on January 27, taking the totals to 132,130 cases and 534 deaths.
  • Laos reported 579 new cases and four deaths on January 26, bringing the tallies to 131,432 cases and 533 deaths.
  • Laos saw 560 new cases and two deaths on January 25, taking the totals to 130,853 cases and 529 deaths.

Malaysia

  • Malaysia saw 4,744 new cases and 12 deaths on January 26, bringing the tallies to 2,844,969 cases and 31,930 deaths.
  • Malaysia recorded 4,066 new cases and 16 deaths on January 25, taking the totals to 2,840,225 cases and 31,918 deaths.
  • Malaysia saw 3,214 new cases and 10 deaths on January 24, bringing the tallies to 2,836,159 cases and 31,902 deaths.

Myanmar

  • Myanmar recorded 120 new cases on January 26, taking the total to 534,503 cases amid 19,310 deaths.
  • Myanmar saw 220 new cases on January 25, bringing the total to 534,383 cases amid 19,310 deaths.
  • Myanmar reported 92 new cases on January 24, taking the total to 534,163 cases amid 19,310 deaths.

Philippines

  • The Philippines reported 18,191 new cases and 74 deaths on January 27, taking the totals to 3,493,447 cases and 53,736 deaths.
  • The Philippines recorded 15,789 new cases and 66 deaths on January 26, bringing the tallies to 3,475,293 cases and 53,664 deaths.
